Barker Blagrave & Associates Dietetics Professional Corporation (BB&A) is a team of Registered Dietitians specializing in the provision of services to Long Term Care Homes across central, mid and south-western Ontario. These services include:

  • resident clinical nutrition care
  • administrative support
  • staff education
  • dietetic resource development

  • Associate Dietitian

    Type: Contract

    Location: Simcoe, Ontario

    Start Date: 2017-10-01

    Description:

    The incumbent(s) would work as Associate Dietitians under contract to BB&A, with support and advice as needed, a comprehensive set of clinical and administrative policies, procedures & documentation tools, vacation relief and regular team / education meetings.


    The Directors of BB&A, Julie Urbshott and Sarah Faulds work closely with their Associate Dietitians and have developed a strong team of professionals dedicated to the provision of high quality, comprehensive nutrition care services for LTC residents.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Ability to work independently, with support from the BB&A team
    • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and computer skills
    • Demonstrated time management skills and organizational ability
    • Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
    • Member of Dietitians of Canada and the the Gerontology Network
    • Current Professional Liability Insurance
    • Previous experience in Long Term Care
    • Applicants must have their own vehicle and be prepared to travel
